Why can't I be able to decide what happens w/ his own life? How can he just accept the fact that he is withdrawaling from the University? Why can't we just leave him alone and see what happens w/ his actual life, however boring it might be because boring = real reality.
Just let them all be themselves. For once, it could be a show about normal people to whom we can relate to. Lets just let him do his own mistakes and learn from them. That's life!

I should go to the dog park. I think that would be nice. Maybe I's bro could have a dog and they could all go to the dog park one day. There's a whole subculture there, you know. People are different. That would be fun, and puppies always increase viewership! They could be led on some sort of scavenger hunt. And the dog park could be one of the stops. Ahhhh...don't turn I into a passive person who just lets everyone else takeover his life. I already hate MM and Quinn the assistant, I guess that's a key aspect to a successful show though (ie. every HBO series), the character you love to hate. We(at least I)'d like to see and learn about I's circle of friends. Because so far it seems like 'I' had no/just a few friends.
And even though it's still a bit stretch from how the story goes so far, I'd love to see 'I' do or impart something noble and inspiring to people around him.
Quinn wins in my book.

I and the troop need some direction and he seems to be a leader;) Quinn is a great character and due to everyone's aversion to him he will be a hit. No one likes a car accident but everyone loves to rubberneck. People will want to see a blowup between I and the girl about CA. It is classic.
